Students in Mr. Havlik’s Consumer Home Maintenance class are gaining hands-on experience by creating mock-up wall designs and practicing electrical rough-ins. These projects provide students with valuable skills and a wide range of opportunities to explore careers in the construction industry. If you would like to be a guest speaker for his classes, please feel free to reach out.
A HUGE congratulations to our very own Girls Basketball Coach, Dave Ross, who was inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame this past weekend!
Coach Ross, a 1978 Port Washington High School graduate, starred in three sports during his time as a Pirate and got his start in coaching right here at PWHS before going on to build an incredible coaching career in Cedarburg.
After decades of dedication to the game and to the student-athletes he has coached, Coach Ross has earned one of the highest honors in Wisconsin basketball. His induction recognizes the impact he has made on the game and the high standards he has brought to the coaching profession.
We are so fortunate to have Coach Ross back home leading our Pirate girls basketball program!

Weekend Athletic Update!
It was a GREAT weekend to be a Pirate! We have some amazing results to celebrate from across our athletic programs.
Cross Country
Our Boys and Girls Cross Country teams competed at the Night Fall Classic in Marshfield on Friday, and both teams had an incredible showing!
The Boys team finished 2nd overall with three medalists:
Andrew Karrels – 11th
Beckett Shuster – 12th
Connor Zinuticz – 17th
The Girls team finished 3rd overall with two medalists:
Ellie Knepfel – 5th
Ashley Mundt – 17th
The girls also had several personal bests from Charlotte O’Brien, Hannah Dahmen, Jackie Poull, Ashley Mundt, and Sela Meeks!
Football
Our Pirates picked up another big win Friday night, defeating Kettle Moraine Lutheran 29-10! With the win, the team moves to 6-0 on the season.
Next up, the Pirates travel to Grafton this Friday to take on the Blackhawks. Let’s keep it rolling!
Girls Swim & Dive
Our Swim & Dive team brought home another 1st-place team finish at the Plymouth Invite this weekend, along with multiple individual podium finishes!
That makes two weekends in a row that our Pirates have taken home the top spot!
Girls Volleyball
And last, but certainly not least, our Girls Volleyball team won their home invite for the second year in a row! What a way to finish out the weekend!
