High School Students needing to register for Credit Recovery can do so now through the Summer School Credit Recovery Registration Form

The Summer School course selection process is managed through Infinite Campus, utilizing a course request system.

Course requests are processed in the order they are received on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that schedules cannot be created until the course request portal closes on Sunday, May 4th. Once the portal has closed, Summer School schedules will be finalized and available to view in Infinite Campus by May 15th.

In order to sign up for Summer School, families need an active Infinite Campus Parent Portal account.

NON-DISTRICT FAMILIES whose child(ren) attended 2024 PWSSD Summer School already have an account. They must:

1. Sign into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account
2. Click ‘more’.
3. Click ‘online registration’.
4. For the 2025 (Summer School) New Student Registration, click ‘start’.
5. Click the blue ‘begin registration’ button.

NEW NON-DISTRICT FAMILIES whose child(ren) did not attend 2024 PWSSD Summer School must:

1. Submit the Infinite Campus Online Registration for Non-PWSSD Students.
2. Activate the Parent Portal account using the Activation Key emailed after registration is processed.

To help students and families become familiar with their summer school locations, we will be offering two open house walkthrough days. Since some students do not regularly attend the school where their summer classes will be held, this is a great opportunity to walk schedules and explore the buildings before classes begin.

Open House Dates & Times:

• Wednesday, June 11 and Thursday, June 12
• 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Locations: Lincoln Elementary School & Thomas Jefferson Middle School

We encourage all students and families to take advantage of these walkthrough days to ensure a smooth start to summer school!

The YMCA will offer Summer School Wrap Around Camp from 11:30AM to 6:00PM at Lincoln Elementary School. On-site Monday-Thursday with full day Fridays taking place at Feith Family YMCA.

Johnson Bus will provide transportation at the beginning (8:00 AM) and end (11:35 AM) of the summer school day.

Please note:

No transportation will be provided from TJMS to PWHS for the Pirate Speed & Strength classes.

Transportation will be provided from TJMS to PWHS for the Stars of Tomorrow Summer Camp.

For BUS TRANSPORTATION, please contact Johnson Bus Company at 262-284-5330 before May 31st. Even if your child rides the bus during the regular school year, you must still make contact.

Welcome to Port Washington-Saukville Summer School!  We are committed to the safety of our students and staff.

Following are some basic safety and security practices we have in place to ensure a successful summer school.

Entering School: Entry into school will only occur through designated doors where a staff member will be standing by to greet you.

Visitors: Visitors are generally not allowed in school for safety reasons.

All visitors requesting access to the school will have to be approved at the front office.

All pre-scheduled visitors will have to be approved at the front office.

Security: Exterior doors to the school will be locked during the school day.

Safety: School staff will review safety protocols with the principal and safety director prior to the start of the school year.

Students will receive an age appropriate safety review when classes begin and will perform an evacuation/fire drill near the beginning of summer school.

Traffic: Traffic is a challenge at the beginning of summer school.  People from all over the community are converging and many are not familiar with the school lots.

Give yourself enough time because it will take a little longer at the beginning.

Staff will work diligently to get students safely to and from school.  Your patience and cooperation helps them accomplish this.

Ensuring the health and well-being of our students is a top priority during summer school. Parents and guardians are encouraged to provide up-to-date health information, including any medical conditions, allergies, or medications their child may require during the program. Please make sure emergency contact information is accurate and complete.

If your child requires medication during summer school hours, a completed medication authorization form must be submitted prior to the start of the program. Additionally, students experiencing symptoms of illness should remain at home to prevent the spread of illness.

***Kitchen Kapers - If you are planning to enroll in the Kitchen Kapers class, please be aware that a variety of ingredients will be used to prepare different foods. Students with food allergies or dietary restrictions should carefully consider their participation and notify the summer school office of any concerns.
