Parents in Wisconsin are offered the option of having their children attend any public school in the State, provided space is available at the grade level or program requested. Please note it is the responsibility of the parent to provide transportation to and from this non-resident school district. Open Enrollment dates are February 2 - April 30, 2026 (ends at 4pm).

WHEN DO I FIND OUT IF MY CHILD HAS BEEN ACCEPTED AND TO WHAT SCHOOL THEY WERE ASSIGNED?

Yes. The Port Washington-Saukville School District requires reapplication for open enrollment prior to a currently open-enrolled student entering 9th grade. Parents of existing Port Washington-Saukville School District Open Enrollment students who will be entering 9th grade in fall of 2025 will need to reapply for open enrollment during the 2026-27 regular open enrollment application period listed above.

Welcome to the PWSSD Family! We are excited to begin this journey with your student. Please review the eligibility requirements and registration steps below before proceeding with registration.

Is My Child Eligible?

4K Enrollment: Your child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026

5K Enrollment: Your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026

Current PWSSD 4K families: If your child is currently enrolled in a PWSSD 4K program, you DO NOT need to complete this registration process for 5K. You will simply complete the "Annual Update" in July.

STEP 1: LOCATE YOUR BOUNDARY SCHOOL

Students must be enrolled in the elementary school within their residential attendance area. If you are unsure which school your child will attend, please enter your address into our elementary boundaries map, or contact one of our main elementary school offices:

Dunwiddie Elementary: 262-268-5705

STEP 2: PREPARE YOUR DOCUMENTS

We recommend gathering these items before you begin the online application process. You can upload these documents during the online session. If you miss this step, you must email them directly to your school office (see Step 4).

1. Proof of Residency: (one of the following if new to the district)

- Lease Agreement (signed, including all residents and effective date)
- Current Utility Bill (Dated within the last 45 days)
- Home Purchase Agreement/Offer to Purchase

2. Birth Certificate
3. Immunization Records
4. Contact Information: Names and phone numbers for all parents/guardians/emergency contacts

STEP 3: REGISTER VIA INFINITE CAMPUS

Please choose the option that fits your family:

Option A: New Families

If you currently do not have any students attending a PWSSD school: Click Here to Start New Student Registration

Option B: Existing PWSSD Families

If you already have a student enrolled in the district:

Log in to your Infinite Campus Portal
Click "more" in the left-hand menu
Select "Online Registration"
Find "2026-27 New Student Registration" and click "Start"
Click the blue "Begin Registration" button

STEP 4: SUBMITTING MISSING DOCUMENTS

If you were unable to upload your documents during step 3, please mail or email them to your specific school office as soon as you are able.

If your child has qualified for our Early Childhood (EC) program, please follow the 4K & 5K Enrollment steps above. Only enroll your student for EC if you were instructed to do so by your child's case manager.

Student registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open. This annual update is REQUIRED for all families with students attending the Port Washington-Saukville School District in the fall of 2025. Please complete this annual update so that our district will have as accurate and up-to-date information as possible.

If you currently HAVE another child who is already in the PWSSD and you are registering a new student in grades 1-12 please do the following:

1. Sign into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account.
2. Click 'more'
3. Click 'online registration'
4. For the 2025-26 New Student Registration, click 'start'
5. Click the blue 'begin registration' button
